Custom Ordering & Booking Experience

  • Boxed Meal Delivery Order

    • Minimum of 20 boxed meals required for order and delivery.

    • The delivery order may be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to the delivery without a fee. If notice is received with less than this time frame, we will work with you to minimize the charge.

  • Special Event Booking

    • Minimum of 50 guests or $1,000 order total including tax required for special event booking.​

    • All prices are plus sales tax and 20% service charge.

    • Charges may include Delivery, Set Up, Clean Up. Servers are extra charge if required.

    • $500 deposit required to reserve the date.

    • Custom menus are available.

Delivery
 

BLOOM delivers to locations throughout the Bay Area, generally a 50 mile radius of Santa Clara. Deliveries before 9:00 a.m., after 3:00 p.m. and on weekends will be accepted on an individual basis and subject to a delivery fee. Delivery charges to locations 50 miles beyond Santa Clara are based on distance.

Taxes

​Local sales tax of 9% is added to all orders unless we received in advance paperwork certifying exemption from CA State Sales Tax e.g. 501(c)3 status paperwork.

Payment

Payment can be made via a personal check to "BLOOM Catering" or cash to the deliverer or mailed to the corporate office. Credit card numbers can be called into the BLOOM office (408-210-5946) and a credit card receipt will be emailed but a 3% processing fee is paid by client. Invoices can also be processed through the accounts payable department. Please let us know when this is the case.

For corporate orders, invoice will be emailed prior to delivery for the first delivery; for subsequent deliveries, the invoice can be emailed after delivery if requested.

For special event reservations, a $500 deposit is required to book an event. One month prior to the event, the first 50% of the remaining balance must be received. Then two weeks before the event, the second half of the 50% of the remaining balance must be received. Extenuating circumstances can be considered.

For other deliveries that do not fall into the above categories, the invoice will be emailed prior to delivery and payment must be received prior to delivery.

Cancellation policy is outlined in a contract signed by client. 

Service Charge & Tipping

Tipping 15 - 20% of the food charges is appropriate and appreciated. Let us know in advance and this amount can be added to the invoice or credit card charge.

Rentals

We can provide standard rental items such as the following: rectangular tables, round tables, folding chairs, chiavari chairs, linens for tables and napkins in limited colors, ceramic plates, metal utensils, water goblets, wine glasses, water pitchers, chafing containers, disposable plates and utensils, etc. This makes it more convenient for your event planning needs to obtain all items in a one-stop shop. Servers

We can provide experienced servers for your special event. A rule of thumb: 

  • Buffet style service requires 1 server per 2 chafing containers and 1 captain to manage all servers. This means regardless of guest count you will need the same amount of servers depending on the amount of items in the menu.

  • Family style service requires 1 server per 2 guest tables and 1 captain to manage all servers. 

  • Full service requires 1 server per 1 guest table to individually serve each guest and 1 captain to manage all servers.

We are more than happy to provide our list of ideal venues, especially the venues we have catered for already, at no cost to you. Make sure to inquire the details of the packages: does it provide tables, chairs, linens, alcohol package, bartenders, or servers, and do they charge extra for outside caterers? Just started to plan your event? Need help? We are happy to provide our list of partner vendors ranging from larger rental items like canopies to photographers and florists. Event Coordinator

We provide a kitchen and serving staff coordinator at no-charge. A wedding coordinator can be provided at a special, competitive rate with the BLOOM wedding package. The wedding coordinator will organize and keep all relevant parties on schedule the day of the wedding. If the wedding coordinator is needed for other input such as decor and linen selection before the wedding date, additional services will be charged.

Venue Hall Rental
